My photography outings over the weekend couldn't have been more different. Saturday, Halloween, found me in downtown Nashville, surrounded by the concrete jungle, the crowds of tourists, and the sounds of Broadway as I spent some time practicing street photography. Then, on Sunday, I traded the hustle and bustle of the city for the solitude of nature, taking in the beauty of autumn at Williamsport Lakes.
The skies were dull and the rain lingered throughout the day, but there was something about the overcast conditions that I really enjoyed. I love the quiet, moody atmosphere they bring to a scene. Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren't found in perfect weather, but in the subtle moods of the landscape.
