I finally got around to posting more shots from my first roll of Ilford Delta 100. I actually posted a few shots in an earlier post titled “Black and White Beach” from my Florida vacation back in September. I have only shot Kodak Tri-X 400 black and white film previously. I have to say that I do like the fine grain of the 100 speed Delta. The contrast and sharpness is good. It’s not as edgy as Tri-X, but I like the Delta look for certain subjects. I have been looking for a slower speed film to do some cityscape and landscape work. With these results, I believe I will use more of this film. I will have to try some portrait shots and maybe try some flash as well.
